        Hi ,my name is Christine Kinnane ( Mc Donald ), as a child I was constantly found doodling or sketching over scribble left on scrap peices of paper ,enjoying turning nothings into something . My very talented mother said I had a gift at about  9 yrs old as I displayed perspective and life in my drawings ,so she wasnt surprised when I said I wanted to be an artist  when I grew up .

I remember entering a drawing competition in primary school,everyone said that mine was the best ,but of cause the teachers pet won,no doubt just to keep me humble at 10 yrs old .I didnt like school much at all then,but that was the time I knew I wanted to be an artist .

       A couple of years later during my First year at High school I was extremely honoured to have the head Art teacher insist on hanging one of my works in the school hallway along with the higher school certificate artworks .The principle was also very supportive by encouraging and allowing me (the only student ) to do Art elective and Art as a craft ,thats when I finally liked school.I enjoyed making art supply money by selling popular little animated drawings of children with heart shaped heads that I named "Sweethearts"​​.I did very well in the practical side of art unfortunately not so well when it came to art history ,that, in hindsight would have been very useful in my travels oveseas in these later years.

      I started working part time in the local Pharmacy then left school to work full time there to pay my way through TAFE, that lasted until my new job took me to far to get to TAFE on time .

      I married young ,raised a family and have been a carergiver until recently .Within those years I was commissioned to do 2 murals and decorate an office in Pitt St Sydney, taught pottery in primary school and pyrography in high school for a couple of years,made various crafts and had a small craft business, yet in all that time I hardly picked up a brush, now I hardly put one down.

     I am a member of 2 art clubs,attend numerous workshops,lead a social art group,childrens art groups and childrens church leader where I gladly get to share my knowledge and my love for art .

My work and my passion for art is inspired by my first love ,Jesus .
